I’ll keep this short as you probably have wings and beer to assemble for tonight. Several full length articles are nearing publication but they may have to wait until the week.
In the meantime, read this fine column by Charles Hugh Smith: Looks Like I’ll Be Able to Retire Comfortably at Age 91. I found it early this morning at www.lewrockwell.com. Mr. Smith does a fantastic job of explaining the current state (of disaster) of the financial world.
His message is not one of gloom and doom, rather he focuses on surviving and thriving throughout one’s working life: “My advice is to focus not on retiring comfortably, but on working comfortably.” That’s one of the most positive, common sense things I’ve read in a while. By the way, I’m aiming to retire at 105.
Last month was the best, highest traffic month for the blog in its history – in spite of my time off and the fact I started the month a little late. Thank you all!
Lastly, the Super Bowl. Go Pats!
