When they are done with it the Russian forces will launch their strategic offensive campaign. They are then likely to rapidly progress through thinned out Ukrainian lines.

Pay close attention to the quote from Filed Marshal Moltke. Russia was completely shaped the battlefield to its advantage, both on the long front and around the entire territory of Ukraine and E. Europe. All of this is but a single front in the larger global conflict. The US and NATO have never faced a situation like this nor an enemy capable of this kind of thinking and action.
