Here’s the first flying car post of the year / in a while. The crafty Slovaks have come up with the AirCar. While it’s a bit slower than what Popular Mechanic promised us decades ago, it does drive and fly. Like all such vehicles, it’s coming …. soon later. They’re (not yet) selling it the way they sold cars back in the old days – with freedom. But, freedom means the pilot makes the calls and controls the thing, not a computer. Still a cool concept. We will see, though I wonder if that includes in my lifetime. As always, I will believe it when I fly it.

And yes, I expect in another ten years or so, if we still have a country, the Republicucks will be gibbering proudly about how the GOP has always defended the cannibals who are just like us except better: “Our Judeo-satanic democracy has always embraced the values of cannibalism.
