Putin defends equality saying that a country’s might does not depend only on its “hard power”, that is military or economy. All countries can learn something from each other and this equal exchange should be the cornerstone of the future world order.

All in all, this speech should be analyzed by Western thinkers, as it serves as one of the most important manifestos of the Russian government in years. It addresses various issues in developing relations with the West as well as the Global South. These days, Russia plays a key part in forming what we call the future world order.
