Just last week, I wrote, “However, the sometimes borderline hysterical, though sometimes alarmingly accurate WarNews247 gave Texas at least two civil war-themed headlines recently: here and here.”

It turns out those two Texas stories are or were the final major headline articles at WarNews247, which is ceasing operations. I never even inquired as to who ran the outfit but on the whole they did fine work, covering many stories and providing certain information few other sources would touch.
