Regarding practical politics, it may be that I have sat on the fence for too long. No apologies, even if that is the case, as I am about to correct course here and now.

The 2024 presidential election is possibly the most important in the nation’s long and grand history. The winner will literally guide the passage of the free world deeper into the 21st century – or not. Hence, it is critical that we make the right decision. Given the available options, it’s not even a question. Therefore, I hereby endorse, encourage, and wish I could participate in the REELECTION OF PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN!

That is, assuming he decides to run again. I’ve heard yea and nay-yet on it so far.

When asked at the Eastern Economic Forum in September whether or not he would seek another term, the Russian leader responded that he would decide once the date of the next election was set.

Under Russian laws, the presidential election should take place at some point in mid-March, but the Federation Council – the upper house of the Russian parliament – isn’t expected to announce the exact date of the vote until December.

As this is important, I may reiterate my call when the time comes. In the (what I see as) unlikely case Putin does not pursue another term, then I endorse whomever he endorses. Remember to vote, those who can.
